This blog has been set up to record the restoration of Ashgrove, which was devastated by fire in August 2007.
Please add comments of encouragement (or even suggestions for the colour of the walls, carpets, tiles, furniture....!!)

NEW GARDENROOM AND REDESIGNED TERRACE PROJECT

Work has begun on the second phase of the Ashgrove restoration. This involves

(a) Demolition and removal of damaged 38 year-old conservatory, leaving only a 'stage set' appearance of solid platform base and remnants of internal decorations.
(b) Demolition of trellis and garden shed leaving behind a void in readiness for the new shed in due course.

Pictures below include

- Final internal pictures of old conservatory
- Arrival of builders, skip and the start of demolition work.
- Demolition of trellis and garden shed.
